The purpose of this module on Social and Emotional Well-Being in Young Children is to provide Early Childhood Education teachers with practical, job-embedded professional opportunities to learn about the importance of 3 to 4-year-old children’s development of social and emotional skills for present well-being, plus future school and lifelong success. Participants will learn evidence-based practices to enhance children’s social and emotional development. The Module is comprised of four interactive, synchronous sessions, two associated asynchronous learning activities, and two products that are designed to assist participants with their daily practice. These practical, job-embedded activities and products will enable participants to apply the new knowledge and skills that they are learning in the Module in their work contexts.
