This module on Learning Through Play aims to provide Early Childhood Education teachers with practical, job-embedded professional opportunities to learn about the research on the value of play and the learning that may occur during play. Discussions will include the teacher’s role, resources, kinds of play, and advocating for play with families and other stakeholders. Participants will discuss strategies that could be incorporated into their practice. Module 14 will link to and reinforce the research and discussions in Modules 12 and 13.
