Kindergarten

The purpose of the Professional Development Module is: 

1. To provide an introduction to the OECS Kindergarten curriculum and the Curriculum Framework on which it is built,
2. To explore instructional strategies from the Integrated Units that support the Principles of Learning and Inclusivity,  and to begin the yearly, weekly, and daily planning process to support the pilot implementation
3. To explore assessment strategies that support the Principles of Learning, Assessment, and Inclusivity,  and to begin the planning process for continuous assessment
4. To explore the digital platform for the OHPC Kindergarten
5. To create a Community of Practice so that Kindergarten teachers who are involved in the implementation pilot have opportunities to work collegially on plans that support effective and inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment.
